The boat shoe is a practical, yet fashionable silhouette that has been a staple in footwear since the early 1930s Timberland roll top boots. Designed by Paul Sperry with a siped-outsole after he saw how easily his dog ran over ice and snow, the boat shoe can be found anywhere from the deck of a ship to the runway. Outdoor footwear manufacturer Timberland’s offering, the Classic 2-Eye is now available in an assortment of flavors at Eastbay.
Timberland’s Classic 2-Eye Boat Shoe is made with rich premium leathers, suedes and nubuck that repel water on contact. Hand-sewn moccasin construction and a 360-degree rawhide lacing system allow for a customized fit Timberland chukka boots. Cushioning is provided by a three-quarter-length EVA footbed that is cupped to cradle the foot timberland custom roll top boots. The midsole is cemented to the outsole to ensure that no stitching is exposed to wear through. Below sits a non-marking, siped rubber outsole that enhances traction on wet surfaces.
The Timberland Classic 2-Eye is currently available to pre-order in six different looks timberland custom boots. Choose from a mixture of full-grain leather-, suede- and nubuck-based styles.
