Sir Paul Smith both inspired and entertained some of the top fashion CEOs at a breakfast hosted by the UK Fashion and Textile Association (UKFT) at The Ivy in London.
The designer, who set up his eponymous brand in 1970 which is now sold to 75 countries worldwide, spoke about his journey in the industry and what has contributed to his success.

He said that one of the important lessons learnt was the ability to say no and to be motivated by passion for what you do and not just for financial reward.
